Altered Crow does one thing and one thing only: chapbooks. We add some postcards and bookmarks and broadsides to the package, but ultimately we're all about the chapbook.
If you're a poet or flash fiction writer, the chapbook is a small treasure, a piece of your work to hand out or offer up at readings. You can slide one under a door or slip it into a book. The main idea is to get your work out there.
Vicki Harkovitch will begin the series with her unsentimental, and often humorous, view of her experience with breast cancer. Laura LeHew will follow with her chapbook of modern, and slightly naughty, fairy tales, Beauty, and Peter Schwartz will follow with his ghost diet.
